TeAda Productions is excited to announce CreAtive Healing Lab (CHL) which will take place from March through June, 2025. As part of this series, 7 all-star guest teaching artists will facilitate 7 workshops that combine the arts, social justice, and collective healing. The goal of CHL is to be a sanctuary-third place for community to gather, process current events, imagine sustainable futures, community-build, and heal through sharing space and creating art.
The seventh, and final workshop of this series is titled “A New Narrative - Rewriting Your Story for Peace & Power” and will be led by Riyaana Hartley.
About the workshop: The story you tell yourself about who you are is the most powerful story in the world. It determines your self view and your world view, and therefore your experience. In this workshop, you'll discover the truth of your journey and excavate the gifts, lessons, talents and superpowers you've cultivated. You'll reframe your story through the lens of self love to reflect your perfection and honor your agency. Movement, meditation and creative writing are part of the experience. Expect to leave with pride in your path and purpose and a new felt narrative, one you can use to upgrade your bio, about page, profile, etc.
About the facilitator: Riyaana Hartley is a creative professional with over 20 years of leadership experience in marketing, film production, wellness, cultural and personal development. Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, her mission is inspired by her own story of escaping apartheid, living in the US undocumented, finding identity in hip hop culture, achieving success in corporate America and then walking away from it all to align creative and spiritual work with ethical entrepreneurship.
Overcoming the obstacles and internalized oppression on her own journey, Riyaana honed the skills and depth of compassion to empower and initiate others. She now serves artists, entrepreneurs, healers, teachers, change agents, thought leaders and organizations using the power of story, intuition, creative expression and self trust. Whether crafting your personal brand, rewriting your narrative, uncovering your essence or clarifying what it is you really do, expect her work and loving witness to illuminate new paths, unburden your past and shift your self perception.
