TeAda Productions is a people-of-color led, nomadic theater company & non-profit organization. Donations support our Diaspora & Local Programs centering immigrant/refugee/asylee/global-majority voices; community-centered, arts workshops; development of new work; and the Nothing About Micronesia Tour. This year, your donation will come with a holiday gift of your choosing.

NOTE: Because Printful charges TeAda Productions a percentage for production costs, we invite you to send an additional donation to TeAda at teada.org/donate to help us cover those costs, and receive your full donation.

Mahalo!!!

As part of TeAda’s End-of-the-Year Fundraising Campaign: No Ack! Check Da Facts! we are rolling out a social media post each week as we sit in gratitude for all we’ve accomplished this year. From the Nothing Micro About Micronesia Tours to our Local Programs & Workshops to traveling the globe to convene with fellow theater practitioners, artists, and activists, we understand NONE of this could be done without the support of the extensive TeAda community.

As the year winds down, we kindly ask for your support as we advocate for, and paddle towards a brighter future. Your donations will help us continue to produce and support necessary, urgent theater productions; while serving communities concerned with liberation, healing, justice, and peace.

NO ACK! CHECK DA FACTS! FUNDRAISING Campaign

TeAda's programs made a BIG impact in 2024. Your support will increase TeAda's Impact in 2025. Help us reach our end-of-year fundraising goal of $10,000 as we:

  • Tour "Nothing Micro About Micronesia" internationally to Saipan & Guam aka Micronesia

  • Partner with Program for Torture Victims once again to share stories of asylum seekers

  • Offer CreAtive Healing workshops to artists of color, students & community in L.A. and across the U.S.

CHECK DA FACTS:

  • TeAda began 2024 continuing its near decade-long collaboration with Program for Torture Victims’ (PTV) clientele of refugees and asylum seekers in a series of workshops that empowered and uplifted all participants and culminated in a public performance: Redefining Home, Stories of Reclamation.

  • TeAda premiered, and began the tour of NOTHING MICRO ABOUT MICRONESIA. Since March 2024, we world-premiered the play at Honolulu Theatre for Youth in March 2024; returned to perform at AND co-host the 7th Annual Asian Pasifika Theater Festival, ConFest Hawai’i: 2024; and wrapped our 2024 touring on the Big Island and Maui. In total, the cast & crew performed over 30 times, for more than 10,000 intergenerational audience members across 4 touring cycles, and 3 Hawaiian islands.

  • We hired Gia Kim to become our Programming & Marketing Intern in August 2024, and they will finish their internship in January of 2025. They join TeAda’s squad which more than doubled in size in 2023. TeAda would like to celebrate its first full year maintaining 5 full-time squad (staff) members: Leilani Chan, Ova Saopeng, Taloo Carrillo, Stephanie “Soultree” Camba, & Jonny Chang.

  • Including our partnership with PTV, we served over 400 people in 2024, delivering over 25 workshops as part of: a new Arts Residency we were awarded at USC School of Dramatic Arts; partnerships with fellow community arts and advocacy organizations (like CSU Long Beach Project Resilience and the Humboldt County Transition Age Youth Collaboration); the development of our newest touring play; after and during-school programs; and more.

  • Be on the lookout for our 2024 Impact Report, releasing soon.

As we IMUA (move forward), we invite you to donate to the NO ACK! CHECK DA FACTS! Fundraising Campaign, and choose a gift from TeAda’s new new line of merchandise. Any donation helps us tour ground-breaking theater productions; teach/serve/build with immigrant, refugee, asylee, and global majority communities; grow through continued professional development; provide more community member access to our shows; and supports our Touring Ensemble’s travel, food, lodging, booking and additional touring costs.

NOTE: Our payment processor(s) takes a fee out of each donation we receive. If you add the transaction fee to your donation (3% extra), TeAda receives 100% of your gift.
